I have a background in UX/UI design and front-end development, but my curiosity about the natural world drove me to complete a diploma in Applied Science at Lincoln university. There, I delved into the weird and wonderful world of natural sciences and fell down the rabbit hole of bird song and bioacoustics*.

I'm a tinkerer who enjoys coming up with solutions for problems I find around me and doing things just for fun. I also seem to entangle myself in some random side projects, such as being the sound gal for the local theatre group or spending a summer recording the sounds of native birds.
